Black Amethyst L.E. Smith 10" Glass‎ Platter w/ Handles & Silver Floral Overlays

This black amethyst glass serving plate was produced by the L.E. Smith Glass Company, likely between the 1920s and 1940s during the Art Deco period. The piece features a distinctive scalloped edge and silver floral overlay decoration that was characteristic of the company's 'Mount Pleasant' pattern.  Black amethyst glass pieces from this era are highly sought after by Depression glass collectors and Art Deco enthusiasts.
