Hit farther than anyone with the power of air! ASICS' unique AIR BUMP structure.
◇ This is ASICS' first soft baseball bat with an air-injection structure. Launched in August 2020 after over 3 years of development, it aims for rebound performance exceeding urethane composite bats.
◇ The restoring force of air creates distance. Aiming for greater distance than urethane, we focused on the energy loss of urethane material during impact. By utilizing a structure that uses air, which has greater restoring force than urethane, swing energy is transferred more efficiently to the ball. Rebound performance is improved by up to approximately 13% compared to our conventional urethane bats.
◇ Sustained rebound performance. Urethane materials can degrade with repeated impacts, leading to a decrease in rebound performance. The Legato Zero is also characterized by its tendency to maintain performance, with a reduction in rebound performance that is less than half (※) compared to our urethane bats. ※Comparison after 2000 impacts.
