Handmade Baby Quilt Applique Children Hearts Multicultural 42x42 Crib Play Mat

Handmade pre owned appliqué baby quilt measuring approximately 42 x 42. The front is a four-by-four grid of white blocks that alternate between soft plush red hearts and appliquéd children figures in a range of skin tones, each dressed in a different print — polka dot, floral, stripe, and owl-motif shirts and dresses — with the blocks separated by multicolor striped sashing, a pale yellow inner border, and a soft blue outer border. Each figure and heart is machine-appliquéd with decorative stitching, and the quilt is machine-quilted throughout. The back is a blue novelty cotton printed with woodland mice resting in thread-spool hammocks, mushrooms, butterflies, and little trees. The hearts have a soft plush, minky-like texture. Measurements are approximate.
